At the Italian table, a social experience comes to life—this is where the craft of creation begins, reimagined by Chef Alessandro Frau, born on the island of Sardinia and shaped by kitchens across Europe and Asia, now recognised as one of Southeast Asia’s most distinctive Italian culinary voices.

Founder of ACQUA in Phuket and Bangkok—two of the region’s most acclaimed Italian restaurants—Frau has been awarded 2 Knives by The Best Chef Awards 2025/2026, one of the global culinary world’s most respected honours. His work is grounded in a simple belief: Italian cooking isn’t about perfection on a plate, but about the people gathered around it—alive with energy, generous, and loud with joy.

At Aniba, that philosophy finds its fullest expression. Fresh crudo bright with citrus and fine olive oil. Wood-fired pizzas finished with Sardinian bottarga. Hand-rolled pasta and properly made risotto. Arancini to begin, tiramisu to close—the kind of meal that lingers long after the last bite, carried with you into the night.
